Between January and February the expected Dark theme of Whatsapp it finally landed first on Android devices, then on iOS ones, and shortly afterwards work began on the Web and Desktop version.
Now comes another version for WhatsApp Web and Desktop (the 2.2013.7) and colleagues from WABetainfo they immediately went to work to find out if they are there significant progress in dark interface development. Which means, mind you, that at the moment this is still inaccessible in normal use of WhatsApp Web.
Having said that, let's see where the works are. Let's start with an image that represents well the Glance overall, with thechat list, a chat and the information contacts or groups all painted black (or rather, dark gray).
We come then to an important difference compared to the previous version: it was indeed implemented, in the code, switch to "turn off the lights" of the I.U. and activate the Dark Theme. One will appear new option "Theme" among the Settingsby clicking on which you can simply choose whether to apply the light one or the dark one.
Compared to what was seen in the previous version, it was fixed the bug so I do background behind emoji it was not transparent but still white.
The news for now stop here: it is still not possible to unbalance when the Dark Theme is finally ready for everyone to use; Certainly, however, the work is in an advanced stage, the interface seems to be already quite refined and close to a definitive version.
