Collaboration agreement between WACOM Europe and Hewlett-Packard's Imaging and Printing Group Europe.
During the day, the two companies announced their intention to combine their know-how to provide products and solutions for the entire digital imaging process, from data entry to their final processing.
“The collaboration with HP – says Leo de Jager, general sales manager of WACOM Europe – will allow us to offer our customers end-to-end solutions for digital imaging. The range of products for the input and output of the two companies will integrate offering solutions capable of responding to specific user needs. "
"We have planned a series of joint sales and marketing actions to better position complementary Wacom and HP products on the market," says Winfried Tilke, HP's Mac-connect marketing and sales manager.
The collaboration will begin in September 2002 and will be made official with a series of presentations at the stand, during Apple Expo in Paris and Photokina in Cologne; these events are aimed at private users, professionals and those working in the educational field.
WACOM and HP will offer Macintosh users in Europe solutions with an intuitive interface common to the entire product range, from input to output, through the network of dealers and Apple centers in Europe.
The collaboration with HP is part of WACOM's communication strategy, announced last December. WACOM will sign a series of strategic agreements with various companies, in order to establish privileged contacts with customers and third parties through participation in interactive "themed" events, during which the technical features of the products will be demonstrated and the most effective solutions for the hardware and software sectors.
