Blogmeter's research took place between 1 May and 31 July 2019 and analyzed the Facebook, Instagram (only business profiles), Twitter and YouTube profiles of the main Italian travel bloggers, creating a ranking ordered by total engagement, which highlights the interest generated by these digital creators.
# 1 Mattia Miraglio
To win the first place of the Blogmeter Top 10 Travel Influencer, thus obtaining the title of best Italian travel blogger 2019, the young Piedmontese globetrotter Mattia Miraglio, who dedicated the last five years of his existence to the realization of a great dream: going around of the world on foot. The company was built without the aid of any means of transport other than ships, which are indispensable for crossing seas and oceans. He left on April 19, 2014, when he was 26, Mattia returned to his Savigliano (CN), thirty-one, in May 2019. During the trip he told his own experience, a narrative that also became a book, A pace duomo. Around the world on foot, published in 2016. In the analyzed period it recorded an engagement of over 1.5 million, mostly on its YouTube channel; here he has published, over the months and years, the videos of his journey, allowing followers to follow him in his extraordinary undertaking.

His passion for Japan was the trampoline he launched as a blogger and youtuber since 2006 and today he ranks second among the best Italian travel bloggers 2019. A passion that Marco discovered when he returned to that country after a first trip in 2004 , just eighteen, who had deeply disappointed him. The many reasons for this disappointment led him, later, to return and study in depth all that had previously made his Japanese experience (language, cuisine, habits, traditions) very bad, even to found GiappoTour, in collaboration with Blueberry Travel, a portal that offers Italians organized trips to the Land of the Rising Sun. Roman, 31, Galati has always been passionate about technology and, after attending the IED European Design Institute, began his career as a video maker and content creator. His followers know him as Mr. Franz and get on the podium of the Blogmeter Top 10 Travel Influencer thanks to an engagement of 776 thousand interactions in the analyzed period that allow him to win the bronze medal among the best Italian travel bloggers 2019. Like Marco Togni, Galati also collaborates with the tour operator Blueberry Travel, as well as with numerous brands and tourism organizations, often mentioned in his Instagram posts.
# 4 Stefano Tiozzo
The fourth position goes to Stefano Tiozzo, traveler, photographer and documentarian, who, thanks to his videos on YouTube and the breathtaking snapshots published on Instagram, gets 480 thousand total interactions. Fifth position for Alessandro Marras, creator of the YouTube channel I Viaggi di Ale but now famous for his Instagram profile in which I post photos that portray him in every corner of time.
