Teams: free download and how it works
Thanks to the Chat function it is possible to interact with all the members of the Team through text, authoring, video and file sharing. It is also possible to send a message to individual members using the @ symbol followed by the name of the person to whom you want to send the message.
In addition to the possibility of general communication with the whole team, you can start a private chat with one person or with a group. To do this, just start a new chat and write in the field A at the top of the screen, the name of the person or people you want to talk to.
Chats are saved and accessible at any time.
A private chat can then be shared at any time with the rest of the team.
You can share files with all team members by selecting the file from the Microsoft Teams website, Google Drive, Dropbox or Box. If you share a Microsoft Office file (Word document, Excel spreadsheet, PowerPoint presentation or OneNote notebook), each person on the team can view it in the Teams interface and even edit it.
With the Planner function you can track and share all the activities and projects of the work group.
Call and video call
From the Calls button in the side bar of Microsoft Teams, you can access the call and video call function very quickly.
Other applications to be integrated
One of the most useful potential of Teams is the possibility of integrating its functions with other apps and services. Here is the possibility, for example, of:
- start meeting away Zoom or away Webex with team members
- Connect Trello or Asana and their project management and activity management functions
- Automate repetitive tasks thanks to Flow
- Share mind maps through MindMeister
- Connect Evernote to collect, organize, share information, documents and ideas that you deem necessary during the activity.
And then again Bing News, Youtube, Weather, Wikipedia, SurveyMonkey, Github, RSS Feed from any site and many others
