PUBG Mobile is the most profitable game for tablets and smartphones of the month of March: the battle royale of Tencent, with an increase of 61% compared to the revenues generated in March 2019, has in fact grossed over 232 million dollars, positioning itself on the highest step of the ranking compiled by Sensor Tower.
Honor of Kings, with over 112 million dollars, it ranks second instead followed by Monster Strike. Among the other mobile securities that have achieved good results in the area of revenue generated, it should be noted Roblox with 70 million dollars (+ 28% on a monthly basis) and the timeless Pokémon GO which recorded its best month of the year for revenue generated: a sign that the changes made by Niantic, to encourage users to play from home, have been appreciated by most users.
In the ranking of the most downloaded mobile games in March, to excel is Slap Kings with 35.6 million installations, followed by Voodoo's Draw Climber (31.7 million downloads) and PUBG Mobile which, with an increase of 35.7% compared to February 2020, recorded its fourth best month of always for installations.
All in all, March 2020 was the best month ever for game downloads on mobile devices with an increase in installations of + 51% on an annual basis with over 3.3 billion titles downloaded: a growth certainly due to the dramatic health situation that forces people all over the world to remain confined to their homes.
