As we reported a few days ago on Macity, the PowerMacs are back in the server version. Three new versions of the machines destined for networks have appeared on the American Apple Store yesterday.

There are three models available: The basic version features a 1 GHz dual processor, 256 MB of RAM, a 120 GB Ultra ATA disc, a combined burner with a DVD player, a third level MB cache.

The intermediate version has a 1.25 GHz processor, reaches 512 MB of RAM and has two MB of second level cache.

Finally the top version differs from the intermediate one for having 2 GB of RAM.

Prices range from $ 2999 for the entry level and touch $ 4699 for the top version, passing through the 3499 for the intermediate version.

For the moment the servers are not yet available on the Italian Apple Store, but an advertising banner on the G4 page heralds that they will soon be available for purchase again in our country.
