Gorillaz launched the world premiere of their new song "Dirty Harry" right in Austin with this method.

These iTunes Custom Cards have been designed by Apple in close collaboration with artists and publishers to adequately promote the new music that will be heard in Austin. A SXSW streaming solution transmits various QuickTime songs online.
