Version 1.4.0 of the Navigon MobileNavigator navigation software for iPhone will arrive in a few days. Among other things, the Application will provide pedestrian navigation, simple searches through Google Local Search and the ability to enter geographic coordinates.

With pedestrian navigation, the MobileNavigator uses the built-in compass of the iPhone 3G S so that the user can always have a look in which direction we are moving.

Thanks to Google Local Search, iPhone users can easily find their way to places where they don't know the address. For example, just enter "bars" to find an exhaustive list of bars in the city as well as a detailed description of how to reach your favorite destination. In addition, the update allows you to use longitudes and latitudes for browsing with iPhone.

Through geographic coordinates, users can also send emails with their location to other iPhone users.

Current and new customers will have the new 13 functions offered free of charge as part of the update.
