MWSF10: the (Flo) tv on the iPhone with Mophie cases – Macitynet.it
Cases with energy reserve for all tastes, durability and colors from Mophie but the absolute novelty, so new that it is not yet in production was the model that will allow you to receive the new FloTV format based on Qualcomm chips that allows you to receive audio transmissions and videos on dedicated wavelengths optimized for mobile use. The prototype seen and photographed at the Expo was a JuicePack with the FloTV chip included and operated via a dedicated switch thanks to which it will be possible to receive the ABC channels, CBS, CNBC, CNN, Fox, MTV, NBC etc. and at the same time provide additional energy to Apple's digital player. Obviously a similar solution will also be available for iPod touch. To use it you will need to subscribe to the FLoTV service. The product will be available after mid 2010 at a price yet to be fixed.
The booth also featured a preview of another smart case: the MarketPlace model, which we told you about at the end of December, capable of scanning credit cards, verifying their validity and sending the receipt by e-mail. A great system for mobile commerce without expensive dedicated devices.
