MSN lands on the Mac – Macitynet.it
With us, in Italy, they never took root. But integrated Internet navigation systems, such as America On Line, are doing great in the United States. So much so that Microsoft has built a not insignificant part of its economic fortune by competing with AOL in this sector.
Now the house of Redmond has decided to present a solution also for Mac Os X, which combines some well-known software (such as Internet Explorer and Messenger) with others dedicated to the suite.
The aim of the Msn suite is to be the access provider and manager of all the Internet experience of the home user. So, integrated management of contacts, navigation, chat etc.
It is unlikely that this solution will be proposed in the first instance for the Italian market, since Msn has never been very widespread in Europe.
