mPower: card with four G4s
The Total mPOWER is a multiprocessor PCI solution for Intel and PowerMacintosh PCs that can be used for the construction of high-performance parallel systems (it is also possible to install several cards simultaneously inside a PC or a Mac). The card has four PowerPC G3 cards (750) or four G4 (7400) and has the possibility of operating at operating speeds varying between 366 and 500Mhz. This makes these Total Impact cards very interesting their ability to connect together multiple cards based on PowerPC processors through the PCI bus, in addition to the ability to interface FireWire, SCSI and network cards. To take advantage of all this power, Linux is needed.
