For those who are waiting for a new inexpensive iPad (all of the current model here) for the anticipated arrival of the eighth generation iPad: the forecast indicates that it will certainly be more powerful and faster, perhaps even making a slightly larger screen available.
Just a few hours ago a report by Ming Chi Kuo predicted the arrival of two new Apple tablets, one from 10.8 in the second half of this year, the other a new mini arriving in early 2021. In the immediately following hours an anonymous online preview declares that iPad 2020 with Apple A12 processor coming soon.
The two forecasts seem to match but one detail does not return, because the latest economic iPad introduced by Apple at the current price list 10.2, a small increase compared to the claim 9.7, although maintaining the same processor of the previous model that went to replace, that is to say say the valid but also slightly dated Apple A10, used by Cupertino in the iPhone 7 generation.
So the arrival of an inexpensive eighth generation iPad a substantial hardware upgrade with Apple A12 processor certainly excellent news. It is the same processor that Apple first used for the iPhone XS and later in 2019 also for the iPad Air and iPad mini. Even if the anticipation comes from a mysterious Twitter user who signs himself L0vetodream, it must be remembered that the same account correctly predicted the exact arrival date of the iPhone SE 2020 and also that of the latest iPad Pro 2020.

At the time of writing, it is still impossible to establish whether this new 8th generation iPad coming this year will be the same as the 10.8 iPad indicated by Ming Chi Kuo or if it is another model that will maintain the current 10.2 diagonal display.
