Improvements to the support of some of the iApps, news for system security, more reliability for different components, such as Sherlock, Snapshot, Address Book, Disk Copy. These are some of the news that Apple is preparing to introduce in Mac OS X 10.2.4 whose development would have almost come to an end.
According to some sites dedicated to indiscretions, in fact, from the Cupertino laboratories aimed at beta testers and developers, the new builds of what appears to be if not the final version have just started, one of the latest versions of the update that has already made its appearance at Macworld, on the new hardware presented in that context.
Mac OS X 10.2.4 should also introduce new versions of OpenGL, QuickDraw and improved Bluetooth support. According to the same sites dedicated to indiscretions, the interface with CUPS should also improve.
The release date of Mac OS X 10.2.4 is not known, but it may not be very far away. Perhaps already by the end of the week, as soon as Apple's servers have relieved of the load caused by the release of iPhoto and iMovie, the update may appear in its final form.
