Logic 5.3.0 for Mac OS X available from September 2nd from Emagic

Emagic (which was acquired by Apple itself a few months ago) has finally announced the availability of Logic Platinum 5.3 for Mac OS X.

The release of the update accompanied by the availability of drivers for Mac OS X of Emagic's audio and MIDI interfaces.

Recall that Logic Platinum 5 OS X a single software package that combines multitrack audio recording and editing, virtual instruments, digital effects, MIDI sequencing and musical notation.

"Logic 5 OS X the first integrated solution available on an advanced generation operating system" says Gerhard Lengeling, Chief Developer of Emagic "and a milestone in the development of applications for audio production on computers".

Mac OS X contains the foundations for what can be called a new generation of excellent applications for the production of music and audio on computers. The technologies necessary for the operation of these applications are already included in X, i.e. CoreAudio, CoreMIDI, the "Audio Units" standard and support for high-resolution audio. The result that third-party applications, plug-ins and hardware solutions will be able to work together simply thanks to a standard available for everyone that should make it easier for hardware solutions to coexist and software from different manufacturers.
