Latin, application dedicated to the Latin language on iPhone and iPod touch – Macitynet.it
For some, the Latin versions were a nightmare: hours and hours spent sweating on the grammar of the now defunct language to decipher the sentences of Cicero, Tacitus and Caesar. With iPhone and touch it is now possible to take revenge, with the help of the Latino application.
Developed by the young Italian Giulio Lettina, Latino has a double soul, online and offline. Offline features allow you to consult grammar, such as conjugations, pronouns and declensions. Terms are also available, to search for words in a real dictionary.
Online, however – therefore through an active connection – we can go back to the most popular versions. Baster type the first words of the version to be able to retrieve the translation from the SplashLatino website database, to which the device connects if online.
Latino can also be used in landscape mode, for better consultation mode. For those interested, the application available on the iTunes Store at a cost of 0.79 euros. Latin available directly at this link.
