Northern Softworks has released "Jaguar Cache Cleaner 1.0" a freeware utility that allows you to delete the system cache automatically generated by Mac OS X 10.2 ("Jaguar"). According to the developers, the utility should solve the problems of those applications that seem crash for no apparent reason, especially after updating some software. "Sometimes", explain the authors of the applications, "Internet preferences are corrupt and therefore impossible to change the default browser. Often these problems are caused by corrupt portions of data. Jaguar Cache Cleaner can help solve these problems by clearing the cache exploited by OS X ". The cleared cache refers to the files present in:
~ / Library / Caches
/ Library / Caches
/ System / Library / Caches
After clearing the cache, reboot via BSD: the system restarts and automatically recreates new cache files. The freeware application and works only with Mac OS 10.2 or higher.
