In the latest versions that allow you to download and catalog the images directly from the connected USB cameras if you have Mac OS X 10.1 or higher. Here are the news of version 1.5.6. Support has been added to the Fuji Raw format, improved support drag & drop between catalogs: with the Option key you can move objects (photos and videos) between catalogs instead of copying them. The automatic renaming and automatic annotation procedures now support Mac OS 10.2. HTML export supports QuickTime ActiveX on Windows web browsers. Improved download from digital cameras to disks with limited space available. Kodak DCR support improved with new import plugins.

In version 1.5.4 Support and rendering of large format images has been improved. Support for new graphic formats has been added: RichTIFF, Canon D60 CRW, Kodak DCR (720x, 760c, ProBack Professional, only on the Mac version. OS 9). The option to exit pages in .php format has been added and the management of nested tables in the index pages generated automatically by the application has been improved. In release 2 the possibility to import comments from Finder also in Mac OS X with an AppleScript that acts after importing. In addition to various bug fixes including that of managing the swap disk of nikon view, the possibility of displaying some specific fields of Canon cameras has been introduced: custom light sources and ISO values.
