Not the most complete and definitive hardware analysis in circulation, also because the last Apple terminal to be delivered and available in the (few) stores open from Friday 24 April, in any case iPhone SE 2020 disassembled shows that the similarities with iPhone 8 was not limited to design and exterior appearance, but also extend to the interior and hardware components, more than previously thought.
By opening the chassis and observing the arrangement of the components, the new iPhone SE 2020 is almost indistinguishable from the predecessor that Apple presented on 12 September 2017. The similarities between the two models revealed by the disassembled iPhone SE 20202 come to the point that some of the components are identical and even replaceable between the two terminals.
For example in the video that we report in this article, the user managed to disassemble the iPhone 8 screen to successfully install it inside the new iPhone SE 2020. The same experiment was not possible with the camera hardware: in both cases it is a module with single lens, but improved and enhanced in the latest smartphone.
Of course, looking more carefully, the differences jump allochote especially with regard to the modem chip and Wi-Fi, the connector for the battery that identical to that of the iPhone 11, as well as for the LED flash.
Obviously the highlight changes: instead of the A11 processor of the iPhone 8, in the new terminal the Cupertino multinational company has used its most recent and powerful Apple A13 Bionic processor, the same as the iPhone 11 range. This choice thus makes it the cheapest of smartphones Apple is now faster than any Android terminal on the market, including the much more expensive top-of-the-range models.
The new iPhone SE can be purchased on the Apple Store or from this Amazon page.
