IPhone programming enters university. To launch an initiative that aims to bring the creation of Apple's mobile phone code among students attending academic courses at the University of Catania.

The course called L.A.P # 1 (Advanced Programming Laboratory 1) and will begin with the new academic year at the University of Catania, on 13 October, at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. It will last 48 hours and structured in teaching modules of two hours each.

The teachers of the course are prof. Vincenzo Cutello (ordinary at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science) and Dr. Costantino Pistagna (researcher at the same department).

"The idea – explains Dr. Pistagna of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science – stems from the need to relaunch the Sicilian university and to provide students with new training opportunities for the acquisition of increasingly avant-garde skills that can be used in the area".

For information and insights on the course, open to all (even if in the event of a large turnout, priority will be given to those entitled, i.e. students belonging to the degree course), refer to this Web page.
