Apple publishes the ranking of the most popular apps (free and paid) of the year on its App Store
2016 is coming to an end and time for budgets, also for the Apple App Store. The company has released data on the best software that populates its digital store, among which also stand out the rankings of the most downloaded apps.
Among the free software depopulated the Facebook-Snapchat duopoly, with Evan Spiegel's instant messaging platform to dominate the rankings and make Mark Zuckerberg fall asleep with his plethora of apps. The Pokmon GO phenomenon takes third place despite being decidedly waning compared to the summer months, while the other positions are occupied by the great classics of Google and streaming platforms like Netflix and Spotify which provide for the purchase of subscriptions within them.
The top ten of paid app more interesting. First of all because it shows more variety even if it is still games and pastimes that are the most popular and then because it offers an overview of the software for which users are actually willing to spend their savings.
Here from the now immortal artificial intelligence Akinator go up to the epidemic simulator Plague Inc. and then on up to the app to the gymnastic exercises of 7 Minute Workout Challenge it's at Facetune, which allows you to correct your selfies to look more attractive. The third position occupied by the cubed world of Minecraft: Pocket Edition, while at number two Face Swap Live swap two faces in the same photo. Finally in first position we find Heads Up, digital version of the party game in which you have to guess the character chosen by others on the basis of questions and answers.
