Apparently reliable CAD drawings of the next iPhone 12 Pro Max were shared by Max Weinbach in the latest YouTube video of Everything Apple Pro. The main details reflect what we already knew: the new iPhone will share a lot of design aesthetics from the iPad Pro. The CADs show the flat side finish squared that we expected and also confirm the dimensions specifications previously leaked.

The first designs and the first rumors about the new iPhone generally come out in the spring before the product launch, as the accessory manufacturers begin to prepare the production lines to have the cases ready for launch in the fall. These rumors most likely come from one Foxconn factory and they seem to be in January of this year. So, since iPhone 12 is still in the 'prototype phase', some details may change as Apple finalizes the study of the product.
According to these latest rumors the phone will be more subtle compared to the iPhone 11 Pro Max, from 8.1 mm up to 7.4 mm and will be equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display, compared to 6.5 inches of the 11 Pro Max. On the whole the phone is becoming slightly wider and taller to fit, but the more noticeable change is the difference in the thickness of the screen frame. The size of the frame is reduced by about 60% on all four sides, from 2.5 mm to 1.5 mm. This means that I will increase the rsupply screen-body overall of the device.
Even the layout of the photographic sector it seems to change to fit a fourth camera sensor: the LiDAR scanner. The layout could correspond to that present in an iconography shared a few weeks ago by 9to5Mac, with a symmetrical array of 2 2 holes. Each of the camera lenses will also become slightly larger in diameter, also suggesting hardware updates cameras
