How to share Wifi connection

Phase 1: On the Mac you have to go into Apple> System Preferences> Bluetooth> Enable Bluetooth.

Step 2: On the iPad you have to activate Bluetooth.

Step 3: Your iPad should look like a new device in your MacBook's Bluetooth preferences. Click on Match. A six-digit number will appear on your Mac. The same number will have to appear on your iPad. Confirm the connection by clicking "Match"On your iPad.

Step 4: On the Mac go in Apple> System Preferences> Sharing and do as shown in the screenshot below.

  • Click on "Internet sharing"From the menu on the left. Do not select anchor box!
  • Select: Share your connection from "WiFi"
  • Check: For computers via "PANBluetooth"
  • Check the box "Internet sharing"From the menu on the left
  • When asked if you are sure you want to share the connection, select "Start"
