Guide to installing Android Google Edition 4.3 on HTC One

Some "lucky" users have managed to use the new version 4.3 of Android Google Edition both on Samsung Galaxy S4 and on HTC One. After already showing you how to install Android 4.3 GE on Samsung Galaxy S4 (find the guide by going to this link), today I want to show you how to install the new version of Android also on HTC One. The advantage of installing Android Google Edition is to have an operating system as designed by Google, without any interference from the smartphone manufacturers. Let's see how.

NOTE: Make a backup copy of the device. At the end of the procedure all data will be deleted.

htc1 "width =" 184 "height =" 326 "srcset =" // 184w, // uploads / 2013/07 / htc1-85x150.jpg 85w, // 169w "data-sizes =" (max-width: 184px) 100vw, 184px "/>

The first step is to unlock the bootloader of theHTC One and get root permissions. To do this you can read our guide to find this link

Next you need to install a modified recovery. My advice is to install the ClockWordMod. You can find a guide at this link

Now you can download the Android 4.3 Google Edition firmware for HTC One via this link. Once the download is complete, move the .zip file to the smartphone memory

Start the device in recovery mode by simply turning off theHTC One and turning it on by holding down the keys Power + Volume down

Wait for the Recovery screen to load and select the button to perform a wipe reset

At the end of the procedure select install zip from sdcard, searched for the Android 4.3 GE zip file downloaded previously.

Wait a few minutes and restart theHTC One, if you have correctly followed all the steps of the guide, you will have Android 4.3 Google Edition installed on your smartphone HTC One.
