The launch date of Google Pixel 4a has not yet been officially announced, but according to the latest rumors it seems that the new phone of the Mountain View giant will soon be available in Germany.
Reportedly, Pixel 4a will be available for purchase starting May 22 via Vodafone Germany. It is unclear whether Google will organize a launch event early or on the same day. As known, the Californian company had organized the Google I / O developer conference from 12 to 14 May (then canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, editor's note), therefore the Pixel 4a was expected to be launched on that occasion. Clearly, following the cancellation of the event, Google had to revise several of its plans, but the US giant could also decide to confirm the "release" of Pixel 4a between 12 and 14 May.
Second Caschys Blog, a German website, Vodafone Germany's internal documents have suggested that Pixel 4a will be available for purchase starting May 22. Given that Pixel 3a was made available in Germany on the same day as the United States, May 22 may also be the date on which the product will be launched globally, as Android Police suggests.
The wait around Google Pixel 4a increased exponentially as the details on the phone were disclosed. Almost everything about the phone has already been leaked. The launch date was missing, even if with these last indiscretions this aspect begins to be clearer.
The smartphone should have a 5.81-inch Full HD + display and processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 octa-core, combined with 6 GB of RAM. There are 64 GB and 128 GB internal memory variants. Pixel 4a should be equipped with a 12.2 megapixel camera on the back and an 8 megapixel selfie sensor on the front. In addition, the phone may contain a 3,080 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.
