For a few weeks, Google has been missing some information on the next smart hub, successor of the current Google Home Hub. Take the name of Google Nest Hub Max, ready to battle the latest generation of Amazon Echo Show. Here are what its technical characteristics and launch date could be.
First of all the date. Some rumors point to 7 May as a possible launch window for the new product, at a price of around £ 200, around € 230. It is not yet clear when it can be announced, but the hypothesis that would like it on the stage of the next Google I / O, alongside the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, cheaper smartphones than the current Google terminals.
The first real difference compared to the current Googme Home Hub, as Pocket-lint also indicates, the display, which in this Nest Max should be 10 inches, with HD resolution. The device should also boast a 12 MP camera, to allow video calls between users, and also detect any movements and, therefore, act as an anti-theft device, complete with sound warnings.
Inside it should host 2 GB of RAM, alongside an Amlogic T931 processor, and stereo speakers, as well as having integrated microphones and, of course, the possibility of controlling the various smart peripherals in the home.
At the moment no further information has been provided, but its existence does not seem to be questionable, given that the device even appeared, for a few moments, on the official pages of the Google Store.
