Tourist guides in Italian on iPhone. Here is the project that aims to create Filmcards, a new brand that launches a series of applications these days that, in fact, operate as a real guide to cities in the Peninsula and other areas of the world, aiming to constitute a real and proper necklace.
The Filmcards guide, in addition to texts and photos from every corner of the place, contain original films, sometimes integrated with 3D animations and graphic reconstructions, useful both before and during the trip, and destined to remain a memory over time. Due to the particular content (such as museums, archaeological sites, etc.), some guides will allow you to listen to the reading of the texts, to be activated and suspended at will.
The debut takes place with a guide in Orvieto, an Umbrian town of great tourist, artistic and cultural appeal. In the application there are 25 minutes of specially made films, visible through the appropriate list or directly from the pages that describe them, a large photo gallery with hundreds of images of all the places, churches and monuments, the history of the city, a guided and detailed visit to all the places of interest including the cathedral, the main monument of the city. Festivals, folklore, crafts, gastronomy with typical recipes, tips for travel, accommodation and visits to the city are also covered, including useful telephone numbers, addresses, websites. For the stay there are the main accommodation facilities with descriptions, addresses, telephones, websites and emails all clickable and localizable on a geographic map that can also be viewed as a satellite map.
