Apple victim of Cybersquatting? – logomacitynet1200wide 1

Apple victim of the always obnoxious practice of Cybersquatting? At the moment there is no official news but it seems that the German domain name of the Cupertino company is no longer under the control of the legitimate owner.

If this were so it would be a rather worrying event for users but above all for Apple itself. In fact, it could have happened that when the registration expired someone would take advantage of the situation, displacing Apple.

In reality at the moment the thing does not appear entirely certain neither in its motivations nor in its consequences. A rather anomalous and even ambiguous message warns that the domain would have been "unintentionally" canceled by Apple itself and that "Apple itself would have been informed" of the event. An alternative solution would have been presented to Apple, whose correct address is provided. Words that do not remove the suspicion that someone wants to take advantage of the event.

Meanwhile, for the benefit of our readers, we report the results of a whois query for
