Apple has recently renewed the smartphone offer with its iPhone SE 2020 but there are still several products in development that will be revealed during the year. iPhone 12, the new AirPods headphones and an update of the laptops MacBook Pro they returned to the spotlight following some rumors provided by the leaker and youtuber Jon Prosser.
The Max version of the next top range of the Cupertino house had been the protagonist of a substantial leaking of news towards the end of last week and now Prosser partially confirms what previously emerged by showing the notch of the new iPhone. Sara smaller in size compared to the one integrated in the iPhone 11.
Prosser shared two images concerning the same component: the first is a photo of a design scheme …
the second is an image developed from the first to make it clear how the notch is structured. This element appears of bottom width compared to the integrated one starting from iPhone X and includes components for Face ID, in addition to proximity and brightness sensors. The speaker slot is located on the frame of the smartphone and not between the sensors; this leads to suppose that the height of the notch of the iPhone 12 is also more contained, but it is difficult to make exact assessments starting from two images and without other references.
The small notch had already been mentioned in the comprehensive report by Max Weinbach of which though Prosser does not confirm other references. More specifically, the source adds on iPhone 12:
- it does not have a smart connector: it could be foreseen on a future prototype to recharge an iPhone without doors, adds the source
- will not support the Apple Pencil
- will not have the USB-C port
NEW AIRPODS AND MACBOOK PRO
Prosser concludes his speech with a lapidary reference to new AirPods earphones and the renewal of the catalog MacBook Pro.
New AirPods (which were supposed to be at the March Event) are now ready to go.
Probably alongside the MacBook Pro next month.

For both the arrival date would be set for next month. The former have been the subject of previous rumors that have described them as the “ entry level '' version of the Pro line. For the latter, it is legitimate to consider an update of the hardware platform with the 10th generation Intel Core processors.
