Apple released the expected update for iTunes tonight. Version 9.1 of the program for the distribution and reproduction of multimedia content acquires several new features.
Other notices include the planned synchronization with iPad, the organization and synchronization of iBooks on iPad (for countries that will have the iBooks online store), the possibility of rearranging or removing the Genius Mixes.
The main news, therefore, concern the tablet that will be released this Saturday, although it is likely that some changes to the code have been introduced to support all Apple devices.
Recall that iTunes 9.1, expected yesterday by MacRumors, could also be followed shortly by iPhone Os 3.2, the first significant update to the phone's operating system for a long time now. As for iTunes 9.1 it will be an upadte aimed mainly at supporting iPad.
To download iTunes 9.1 you can use the internal Mac OS update engine or go to the specific page of iTunes.
