On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, Amazon, in collaboration with the Studio AMA Albera Monti Architetti, opens the doors of its headquarters to show visitors a selection of products that includes affordable design items, high-end brands and innovative solutions for the smart home. The project, called House in a Box, presents various Amazon services that simplify the shopping experience, from searching for items to choosing the ones you want, to delivering them to your home.
Lesposizione, curated by the aforementioned studio, includes two contemporary-style apartments, set up with a selection of furnishings available on Amazon.it, including items from the new Amazon, Alkove and Movian collections together with Made in Italy handicraft products. On this occasion, visitors will also have the opportunity to see Alexa in action, while interacting with different home automation products. All the items in the exhibition are available in the special store dedicated to Design Week.
The exhibition will be set up inside the new Amazon headquarters in Milan, in Viale Monte Grappa 3. On 11 April, from 15:00 to 20:00, and on 12 and 13 April, from 10:00 to 20:00, the showroom it will be open to the public, who will have the opportunity to explore the spaces.
Visitors will be able to find out more information about the products directly on Amazon.it, simply by framing the SmileCode associated with each item on display, together with the opportunity to take their own photographs within a path that will present some optical illusions. For customers who want to have a personalized experience of the exhibition, guided tours will be organized every half hour.
Amazon House-In-A-Box was set up thanks to the collaboration of different brands such as Huawei, Lavazza, Alessi, Argoclima, Baldiflex, Bticino, Candy Hoover Group, Ecovacs, Moleskine, Moulinex, Rowenta, Philips Hue, Samsung. Among these, Lavazza will exhibit the A Modo Mio home system with Desa and Tiny, the machine designed for the youngest. To accompany them, two blends in capsule with unique scents and aromas: Qualit Oro and Qualit Rossa. Huawei will instead be present with the new P30 and P30 Pro, the Matebook 13 notebook and the Watch GT Active smartwatch.
At the exhibition, visitors will also be able to experience new features dedicated to the purchase of furniture: Amazon Augmented Reality, which allows you to view products directly in your home, Amazon 360 Spin, which allows a 360-degree view of the products, and Discover, the functionality that allows customers to filter items based on their style preferences and provides personalized recommendations from a selection of thousands of products.
