Even the PC Engine / TurboGraphX emulated on iPhone and iPod touch
The emulation is also making its way onto the iPhone and iPod touch, to the delight of those who expect nothing more than to be able to play their favorite video games of the past, so the news of the arrival (unofficial of course) on the gadgets will be welcomed Apple's TurboGraphX-16 emulator, also known as the Japanese name of PC Engine.
For those who do not know it, the PC Engine was a Japanese console produced by NEC and distributed between the 80s and 90s, still considered today as one of the most interesting consoles historically available.
Memorable games such as Bonk's Adventure, Dracula X or Ys landed on the PC Engine; practically unknown in Europe, the console enjoyed an excellent popularity in Japan and a decent distribution in the USA.
All fans (or the youngest curious) for this forgotten console will now be able to savor its historical videogames on iPhone or iPod touch. Developed by the zealous ZodTTD, for now the temper4iphone (this is the name of the TurboGraphX-16 / PC Engine emulator) still in beta, but its distribution on the network of "gray" Apps will not be long in coming. In the meantime, we offer you the official presentation video available on YouTube.
