Adobe has finally made available Photoshop for iPad and, a few hours after publication, the company has confirmed another news already emerged in recent weeks in the form of rumor: Adobe Illustrator will land on iPad during 2020.
Again, we remind you, it will not be one complete version equipped with all the features of the desktop version, but an application based on the same code, but with optimizations designed to make it more usable from the iPad. We could therefore find some less functionality, but it will still be about a vector drawing application very versatile and powerful.
At the moment Illustrator for iPad is still in a very unripe development version, so it is not possible to know in which period of 2020 it will be released. What is known, however, is the fact that the application will present full support for Apple Pencil, full compatibility with Creative Cloud and an excellent quality level for all projects developed entirely on iPad, like on desktop.
In short, Adobe continues to bet on the tablet from Apple, investing in the development of professional applications that allow these devices to become increasingly credible alternatives to traditional PCs. Adobe has announced the possibility to register for more information and – in the future – to try the preview app. You can submit your application to this address.
