The iPhone becomes a powerful, flexible and above all pocket-sized scanner. To deal with the "miracle" a new application developed by the very Italian Zirak, already known for EasyTrails GPS and Photogallery.

DocumentScanner, completely translated into our language, operates using the internal iPhone camera thanks to which the images of the pages are acquired. Once stored, you can improve them, save them in JPG format, combine them in PDF documents and share everything via Wi-Fi, email or Internet thanks to full support for Google Docs.

The strength of DocumentScanner is the simplicity with which multipage PDF documents are created (also password protected): just scroll through the available images, touch those that interest us to select or deselect them and drag them to order them at will. Image enhancement tools are also simple and powerful: they can be used automatically or manually correct perspective deformations, adjust brightness, contrast and color intensity. The preview helps us understand if the fruit of our adequate work or we must do other operations

In case there is no time available, thanks to the quick shot button you can quickly insert images for improvement in the future.

Obviously, there is also the possibility of sharing documents that can be sent via e-mail, through the browser sharing system already seen in EasyTrails GPS which only requires a Wi-Fi connection, on Google Docs accounts, on the camera roll of the iPhone or copy to clipboard. DocumentScanner does not require an Internet connection except for sending via e-mail or publication on Google Docs.

The developers are already working on the support for WebDav and iDisk which will soon be provided as a free update to those who buy the current version.

In addition, DocumentScanner also supports the micro-donation project for the environment, as well as EasyTrails GPS and Photogallery: in practice, 10% of the economic inputs are donated to non-profit associations. The donations of 2009 support Amurt Haiti's environmental programs through Amurt Italia.
