rRootage arrives for free on iPhone and touch – Macitynet.it
Quite well-known in the community of independent developers, Kenta Cho has made a name for creating excellent shoot'm ups with a frenetic action and unique graphic style. One of his most famous titles rRootage, developed in 2003 and recently re-proposed on the App Store by Miko Wohlgemuth, who adapted it on the iPhone and iPod Touch. rRootage Online, this is the name, does not just replicate the music and graphics of the original, but implements support for online leaderboards, multitouch controls and four different game modes, including one titled IKA Mode and inspired by the famous shooter Ikaruga . The player will soon be stimulated to move continuously on the screen, both for the incredible amount of enemies, and because his ship will be more effective when attacking closely.
rRootage Online, moreover, can be downloaded for free from the App Store: the developer aims in fact to earn from the implementation of iAd, due choice, but which, judging by the numerous consents of the players, will probably lead to equally good collections.
