For years, the Cupertino multinational has been a spokesperson to support diversity and equal rights, as well as to end discrimination of all kinds, based on race, origin, religion, including those based on sex or personal inclinations: this year Apple and Nike present two new Pride series straps for Apple Watch (already available here and here on the online Apple Store)
The first Pride strap to support the communities and rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people (often signed LGBT) was given by Apple to its employees on the occasion of a major fashion show held in San Francisco in 2016. The multinational of Cupertino releases a new dedicated model in May. Although this year all the parades, marches and demonstrations are suspended due to a health emergency, Apple and for the first time Nike also introduce the new Pride straps for Apple Watch.
Of course both are characterized by the colors of the rainbow, which has always been the LGBT flag all over the world. The Apple Pride strap has the same colors both inside and outside of the bracelet, and ready to be combined perfectly with the new dedicated dials coming soon with the next version of watchOS 6.2.5 now in beta. The first images of the new dials have emerged in the past few hours: we talked about it in this article. The first Nike strap in the Pride series for the sports brand maintains the same materials and design as the sports bracelets for the Apple Watch, therefore with a fully perforated structure to facilitate perspiration. Of course, for this model too, Apple has created a new digital dial that matches perfectly, with a series of rainbow colored dots in the position of the hours.
The new Apple and Nike Pride series straps for Apple Watch are already available for purchase on the Apple Store online: from this page the Apple Sport Pride Edition Strap, instead from here the Nike Sport Pride Edition strap, each for 49 euros.
