After the release for Palm OS users last December of Jot version 2.0 (also running on Palm OS 5.0), the Californian software manufacturer CIC now announces the agreement with Sony Ericsson.
The P800 mobile phone / PDA, which should also be available on the market soon in the unmarked TIM version, to recognize human writing uses the Jot 2.0 software from CIC – Communication Intelligence, which had previously been made available for the Palm OS platform, with the Symbian 7.0 system.
"The best solution to write SMS in a natural, intuitive and fast way," said Russ Davis, vice president of CIC for software that supports a multilingual dictionary and Sign-On, a biometric security application, available towards the end of the year.
The so-called Graffiti 2 for Palm becomes decidedly market leader with the entry into the "smart" mobile market.
