iWork for iPhone is not (yet), but Apple talks about it – Macitynet.it
iWork for iPhone in development? The question is not new and the answer, at the level of indiscretion, not even. For most observers Cupertino is working on a mobile version of the suite already available for iPad. A belief that seems to find some confirmation tonight from the Apple online sales site where there is a specific mention of iWork for iPhone
The name of iWork, as Macrumors notes, appears in the personalization of an iPhone purchase on various international sites including the Italian one. Once you have chosen the 3GS model (the only one that can be ordered for now on the Italian site) or 4 (which can be purchased on the Internet site for now only in the United Kingdom and France, selecting Apple Details in ?Care? reads the following in the ?Support? section software included ?: you can contact Apple experts directly to ask questions on many topics, including: Syncing with iTunes, Connecting to wireless networks, Sending and receiving mail, Using iWork for iPhone and other Apple iPhone apps.
As mentioned at the beginning, this is not the first time that Apple mentions iWork for iPhone. At the presentation of iPhone 4, a screen shot had appeared on a page in which Mail asked to open an attachment using Keynote. Subsequently, Apple replaced the image with another in which the attachment could be opened in iBooks.
Difficult, at this point, to think that twice Apple has simply misspelled and that there is no iWork in preparation. Most likely the program is under development but has yet to be completed.
