15 best Android TV games to play

Android TVs are fantastic. They put almost all the power of the Android platform and functionality into your TV. Also, with TV boxes like Mi Box, which sell for as low as $ 69 and which provide a significant amount of energy to your TV, you should really convert your TV to an Android TV. With Android TV, you'll have access to a myriad of cool Android TV apps and games that you can play on your TV. So if you have an Android TV, and you're looking for some fun games to kill some time, here are the 15 best Android TV games to play:

1. Asphalt 8: Airborne

Asphalt 8 one of my favorite mobile games ever. incredibly fun to play and also comes with one multiplayer mode local (and online) , which makes it even better. On Android TV, the game available on the Play Store and works perfectly in the Mi Box. true, the frame rate is not very fluid, but certainly playable. You can connect a Bluetooth gamepad to Android TV, and Asphalt automatically detects it and tells you the control scheme for your gamepad.

Even though it is possible to play with the controller supplied with the TV box, this makes the gameplay "not so exciting". However, add a Bluetooth controller to the mix and you will find yourself having lots of fun rides on a giant screen in your living room.

2. Crossy Road

Crossy Road a fun game that will keep you glued for hours at a time. The simple premise: you just have to cross the streets, avoiding being hit by traffic (which comes in both directions, in some streets), also avoiding leaving the screen, while the camera continues to rotate forward, and you have to keep ahead. What makes this game so addicting, perhaps the fact that it seems easy enough, when not, and that it requires you to keep a fast pace from the start. Make your way through the traffic quite difficult, but the game quickly goes to the streams you have to cross over the logs and leaves.

The graphic quality of the game is deliberately poor, but this contributes to the general charm and feeling of the game. Plus, the fast movement and easy control scheme make it a lot of fun to play. Keep in mind that the game does play better with the remote control for Android TV, rather than with a gamepad.

3. Dead Trigger 2

Dead Trigger 2 a first person survival game, set in a world torn apart by a global zombie apocalypse. If you are thinking this is yet another zombie apocalypse game, ap. However, the "sort" of open world maps and the graphic quality of the game make the game design very interesting. You can walk on the map, complete goals and much more. The game requires a gamepad to play and you will need to configure it before you can start playing. While the installation takes some time, I like the idea of customize the controls when the game starts, so you know exactly how to go play and complete the objectives that have been assigned to you.

When the game starts, you are in a post-apocalyptic world full of zombies and you are armed only with a melee weapon and a gun . Other weapons will be unlocked later in the game and give you the opportunity to play in various ways. The game is updated often, adding more and more gameplay elements, to keep you interested and absorbed in surviving in what can be described as a real hell hole.

4. Into the Dead

Into the Dead is another game that I loved playing on my Android phone, and it was a pleasant surprise to see the game just as fun on a bigger screen. Except, more interesting. Also, playing on a larger screen gives the graphics a much deeper perspective, bringing out the real horror of running along a field full of zombies and obstacles. The game is easily playable with a gamepad and tells you controls as you go along. The automatic race, and everything you have under control, is turning left or right, to avoid the zombies (and obstacles like trees and abandoned cars), as well as shooting from the weapons that you can collect from the randomly falling crates.

The game basically a endless runner, and it becomes progressively more difficult to play, as the distance increases. You will have to be quick with your reflexes and turn in the exact moments, to avoid colliding with a zombie, resulting in death.

5. Badland

Yet another fun game that you can play on Android TV, the Badland game, critically acclaimed and much loved. The game has received over 1 million votes and has an average of 4, 5/5, which is nothing short of wonderful. On TV, the minimal graphics it looks extremely good, and the colors stand out well. You can play with a gamepad or with the remote control of the Android TV, and it looks very similar to other games tap-to-fly like Flappy Bird. Except, less annoying.

In Badland, you can hit walls and obstacles as much as you want, as long as they don't get stuck in them, which leads to death. The target cross the level avoiding obstacles and collecting power-ups . The levels become progressively more difficult and the game continues to be interesting.

6. Zombie Age 2

Zombie Age 2 a fun side scrolling shooter, with light graphics and a fun grip on killing zombies. The game begins by teaching you the basic movement and shooting pattern that you will follow. So, you are quickly thrown on the field, you expected to defend yourself with just a baseball bat and a gun. The first couple of easy levels, and just when you start unlocking weapons, and basically starting to feel invincible, you will be pushed into a level that seems almost impossible to complete.

This is the fun part of this game challenge in unexpected ways, and try to keep you on your feet (successfully) and get your adrenaline pumped. The really fun game to play, and if you like shooting games that don't take themselves too seriously, Zombie Age 2 is the perfect way to spend some time shooting and hitting zombies on your TV.

7. Fast as a fox

Fast Like a Fox a level side runner game that will keep you entertained for hours. In the game, someone stole all the fox's treasures, and your responsibility is to find and return them all. But not everything, you have to be as fast as you can . Play the simple game, just press and hold the button running on the gamepad and the fox increases its speed over time. You can press the button jump for jump over obstacles, and chasms, or to collect coins and gems that are suspended in the air.

However, racing isn't all in the game; you should actually slow down at the right time to be able to collect every single piece of treasure on the level. At the end of each level there is a diamond, which you must touch (or pass, if you are running too fast). However, oddly enough, if you are too fast, and you happen to jump over the diamond, the level does not end and you have to start over a little way. All in all, however, the game decent enough to kill some time, while enjoying the Material Design oriented graphics and the soft color combinations that the game follows.

8. BombSquad

BombSquad one of those games that you can have a lot of fun with a keyboard, but not so much with a gamepad. However, if you happen to connect a keyboard to your Android TV, you will definitely fall in love with BombSquad. The game supports different game modes, including single player / co-op or multiplayer player. The game is very fun when played in multiplayer mode; all you need to do is connect two (or more) controllers to your Android TV, and you're ready to play with your friends.

BombSquad has a number of great levels, and the only purpose of the game is to kill all the characters of your friends . You can punch them, lift them up and throw them off the platform (effectively killing them), or throw bombs at them. The game is very fun, even in single player mode, but playing with friends brings out its true potential. You should definitely try it with a couple of your friends.

9. Doesn't move

Does Not Commute a very different type of game, and although it is confusing at first, the goal of the game becomes clear very soon. The game follows stories per shift of a number of different people, all headed somewhere or the other, and you have to make sure they all reach their destinations within the set time limit, avoiding collisions with other cars . From the start of the game, you will have to think about things like the shortest route to their destination, and then, as the game progresses, you will have to find the best routes for each of them, so they don't end up colliding with each other, or with buildings and other obstacles.

The fun game is the very nice graphics . The fluid and decidedly addicting gameplay; there is something fun reading the short descriptions of people in the cars and what they are doing. I would like to recommend this game, only when you have enough time and enough energy to apply a little thought to the game, to do it justice.

10. Mars: Mars

Mars: Mars a fun way to kill time on your Android TV. The goal of the game is not immediately clear, or completely clear even after I jumped on 70 pads. Returning to the game, you are an astronaut who was sent to Mars, and for some reason, your sole purpose on the lonely red planet, to jump from pad to pad, using the thrusters in your spacesuit to manage your flight e land slowly, without the unscheduled disassembly of the suit and, by extension, you.

For some reason, the game extremely addicting and you'll probably end up playing it (like me) for a long time, just waiting to see what happens next. The game poses many challenges and there is always something that will keep you playing.

11. Dan The Man: Action Platformer

Dan The Man an action platformer that looks very similar to Super Mario. The gameplay is very similar, and also the way the game proceeds similar to Mario. Personally, I liked the game, although the music wasn't really in line with the tone of the game. Just like in Super Mario, you have to overcome a series of obstacles and defeat the easy enemies to pass the level. There are also a number of urns arranged all over the level, which can be punched and kicked for coins, or (sometimes) weapons and ammunition.

There are a number of different weapons that the game has; I only played for a while and managed to get my hands on some ninja stars, throwing knives and even a machine gun. It's super cool, and you should definitely try it.

12. Beach Buggy Racing

If you are interested in racing games, Beach Buggy Racing is a fantastic racing game that you can play on Android TV. The best part of this game you can easily control the beach buggy that you should run. The control scheme is easy to understand, and the game does not use super accurate physics, which, to be honest, can be annoying in a casual game. The game begins by teaching you how to drive your car, and how to update it … all the basics of the game. During the race, you can collect various power-ups that provide you with different types of powers, including things like rockets to do disappear your opponents, increase to overcome anyone in front of you and much more.

You can also get the shield, which basically protects you from rockets and bombs fired by your opponents. The game is a lot of fun, partly because of the fluid gameplay, but also because it doesn't try to get too complicated, and keeps the controls and management of the car sweet and simple; something I really love.

13. Crush your enemies

Crush Your Enemies was one of my favorite games on iOS devices, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it run so well on an Android TV as well. one of the games that simply shows that not all graphics when it comes to making a fun game. The game uses graphics that look a lot like 8-bit games of a time and combines it with a gameplay that is simply too fun to give up.

Crush Your Enemies combines fun gameplay with one plot narrated with such intelligence, which becomes almost impossible to let go of the game, until you end up in a dead end with a mission that will not be completed. The game it requires a lot of strategy, and to think ahead, especially when you move to some of the higher levels. All in all, Crush Your Enemies is a great game for people who like strategy games, and don't care about footprint-filled movies.

Note : Crush Your Enemies not suitable for children. The tongue is hard and full of curses.

14. Leo's luck

Leo's Fortune is a fun platform game that will keep you absorbed. Thanks to extremely well designed levels, the fluid gameplay and the controls "easy to understand, difficult to master", the game will surely entertain you. In Leo's Fortune, you play the role of Leopold: a fluffy ball like an ox, out for chase the thief who stole his fortune . The levels are generally easy, interspersed with some difficult moments that will certainly bring you a couple of attempts to pass.

There are almost 24 levels in the game, plus some bonus levels, so the game will surely keep you attacked for quite some time. In addition, you can play this game with a controller or using the Android TV remote control, thanks to the simple control scheme.

15. Through the fog

Through the fog a game that I didn't expect to be as fun on TV as it is on a mobile device. If I had to place it in a genre, I would say a kind of puzzle e game of adventure . Through the fog surprisingly difficult and incredibly fun. In the game, you are in control of a, for the lack of a better word, wall, which continues to go on.

Pressing the button turns the wall left and right, alternatively, and you are forced to maneuver it through a landscape with many obstacles, some of which are not even visible until you are close enough. The rather addicting game, and if you are even remotely in puzzle / adventure games, you will certainly love playing through the fog.
