OnePlus is releasing the OxygenOS Open Beta 13 for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, while the OnePlus 7T range is getting the Open Beta 3 update.
The updates for the OnePlus 7 series are particularly interesting and also quite expected. As readers of OutofBit, the Shenzhen-based company will remember had to withdraw the Open Beta 12 update initially implemented on OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro due to a bug that actually sent the unlocking function of the device on these phones of the Chinese company.
The new Open Beta build basically takes the place of the previous version: users who remained at Open Beta 11 are getting right in these hours an OTA update which ensures the Open Beta 13 of OxygenOS.
There is practically no difference between the change changelog. OnePlus 7 and 7T owners have the ability to access the level of Android security patch (SPL) of April 2020 after installing these updates, but there are also other news.
For example, at the system level the volume adjustment is optimized to improve the user experience. Furthermore, with this new update, the missing registration icon has been added to the call screen. The update then goes to solve some known problems and improves system stability.
The changelog reports how additional information about missed calls is added, such as the duration of the call attempt. At the camera level, a feature is added that can now detect dirt on the camera lens, requiring quick cleaning for better image and video quality
Owners of these OnePlus phones can download the incremental OTA file immediately or the complete OTA package. For installation, just click on the "Local update" option in the system update screen located in the Settings menu.
