Filemaker at Macworld with educational databases

It will be a Macworld entirely (or almost) dedicated to the world of teaching for FileMaker.

The Californian company, world leader in the production of database software for corporate workgroups and individual users, will in fact be present at the reviews held from 7 to 10 January 2003 in San Francisco to present the range of K-12 database solutions.

Thanks to its numerous and powerful features, ready-to-use teaching templates and hundreds of solutions for the vast community of expert developers, FileMaker Pro 6 makes the management and sharing of information even more economical and efficient.

"FileMaker Pro offers concrete solutions to thousands of schools in major districts of North America," says Dominique Goupil, President of FileMaker. "We are excited to present the new K-12 solutions at MacWorld EXPO in San Francisco that meet the needs of teachers in the management of school activities."

Teachers who visit the FileMaker stand at MacWorld (stand 717 'Moscone Center) will also be able to attend technical demonstrations of about a dozen K-12 solutions and will have the opportunity to interact with some of the main FileMaker applications used , for example, for the creation of Web programs for kindergartens, for online registration for lessons, for the organization of data relating to admission requests, developed by companies such as CoreSolutions Development Inc., inResonance Inc., Watzman Associates Inc . and many others.

Last month FileMaker launched a new website, K-12 Education, which offers free software solutions for teaching, latest news regarding FileMaker proposals for the world of schools, updates on conferences and events where teachers can attend demonstrations on the use of FileMaker and special offers of FileMaker products for teachers and administrators in the K-12 segment.
