Apple is the brand that has a stronger connection with users worldwide. Cupertino took first place in the MBLM ranking for 2020 for the category of brands in the technology sector and in the general ranking it is positioned behind Amazon and Disney.
Not the first time for Apple: it has often ranked first in the annual MBLM – The Brand Intimacy Agency survey in relation to the category of brands in the technology sector. Last year, however, it was surpassed by YouTube. As regards, however, the general Apple ranking dropped from second to third place, surpassed by Amazon and Disney.
Apple remains, however, the only technology and telecommunications brand in the top 10 of the MBLM ranking, in the year in which Walmart entered the ranking, in ninth position, alongside four brands in the automotive industry.
The MBLM study collects data from over 25,000 consumers and 400 brands. The MBLM trademark certifications are carried out starting from surveys conducted among consumers scattered throughout the United States, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.
On the MBLM website it is possible to play with filters to see how let and income affect the score of users' link with the brand. If we consider consumers aged between 18 and 24, for example, the strength of the link with Apple drops to seventh place overall, while for users between 35 and 65 years of age Cupertino rises to the first place ever.
