HyperMac: external batteries to recharge MacBook, iPad and iPhone – Macitynet.it
Hardware manufacturers are already unleashed and the first interesting third-party products compatible with the iPad are starting to arrive. HyperMac, for example, has created an external lithium-ion battery that is also compatible with MacBooks and the iPhone and that can be used to recharge the device on the fly. The product available in four different models: 60, 100, 150 and 222 Wh (as a comparison, keep in mind that the MacBook Air has a 37 Wh battery), the product can also work with other USB devices and can recharge an iPhone 52 times. The obviously rechargeable battery provides a 5V / 1A USB port and allows you to independently or simultaneously recharge your MacBook, iPhone, iPad and other devices. If connected to the MacBook Pro, the battery can be "switched" from 16.5V to 18.5V (the MacBook Pro can take advantage of this feature in the use of intensive tasks, as its power supply already does as standard).
According to the manufacturer, these batteries are rechargeable 1000 times. The one-year warranty (typically these products guarantee 300 refills and have only a three or six month warranty). Prices range from $ 199.95 to $ 499.95. The package includes MagSafe cables for charging MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.
