Sygic Mobile Maps arrives on European iPhones: GPS navigation for cars and bikes

It is already first in the paid iPhone applications in Australia and is preparing to climb the sales rankings of other countries given the variety of maps contained in the application. It is Sygic Mobile Maps that we had previewed at CeBit (with its YouTube video) last March and finally also available in our country. After Navigon and waiting for TomTom, the choice of software for assisted navigation on iPhone widens .

Mobile Maps available in 3 versions:

– Mobile Maps Europe and 79.99 Euros

– Mobile Maps Asia and South East at 62.99 Euros – Mobile Maps Australia and New Zealand at 49.99 Euros

North America maps are also on the way, all based on Teleatlas cartography.

The European maps, which occupy about 1.9 GB on your iPhone, include these countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belarus, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Great Britain, Gibraltar, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Latvia, Monaco, Moldova, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Holland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican

As you can see from the images below (and from the video of the Cebit page) the software capable of planning itineraries, of directly accessing the POI cards, of making calls directly from the phone. It also includes speed camera management and crossing of railway lines. A special option allows you to detect the car parks close to you and guide you on what you select. On the main screen there are 4 free spaces where you can enter 10 optional information: travel time, real time, distances, speed, length , signal etc.
