Apple announces the expansion of the App Store to 20 other countries

In addition to the arrival of universal app purchases for software that work on all Apple devices and now also on Macs, Apple has announced the expansion of the App Store to 20 new states later this year. At the moment the digital shop of the multinational company of Cupertino is already available in 155 countries, allowing developers to access a global market for the sale of their software.

This immense window will expand further this year with the arrival of the App Store in 20 new countries. Cupertino does not specify the exact date but a deadline indicated to the developers to take advantage of the expansion suggests that the availability of the App Store in the new markets may begin as early as April 10th.

Below is a list of the 20 countries in which the App Store is available: Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Georgia, Iraq, Kosovo, Libya, Maldives, Montenegro, Morocco, Myanmar , Nauru, Rwanda, Serbia, Tonga, Vanuatu and Zambia.

Apple informs developers who want to offer their apps in new markets must accept the license agreement on the site dedicated to Apple developers, after which a check mark must be made under the item New Countries or Regions, within the Pricing and Availibility section on the page of app information. Apple also suggests that developers take these steps by April 10, to make sure that the apps are ready to be published in the new App Stores of the 20 nations as they are launched.
