We receive and publish … "Apple will be present today at the Berlinale as a technological partner of Cinecitt Studios, National School of Cinema and Istituto Luce, for the presentation of" The digital look ", the first digital film produced by Cinecitt Holding. The title collects the 6 fiction short films made on the basis of the screenplays that won the Cinecitt Digital 2000 Award.
The six short films were made using a Thomson high-definition digital video camera, worked in post-production with Apple's software and hardware systems and with Cineon transcription by means of Laser Film Recording on Kodak 35 mm film. The realization of these short films on Macintosh workstations with the use of the Final Cut Pro software also took place with the contribution of additional tools, involved in subsequent phases of the process: the recent version of Nuendo by Steinberg, the new release of Commotion by Pinnacle and LaCie storage systems.
