Velux windows will be integrated with Apple's HomeKit protocol

The first ones will be available from early 2017 Velux windows manageable via HomeKit, will be the first products related to the Apple home automation platform of the company that for 75 years has been working in the creation of windows to be placed on the roof of homes using natural light and fresh air to ventilate the rooms.

The product range includes roof windows, flat roof windows, internal and external blinds, roller shutters and electric controls to control and make homes more intelligent. These products help to ensure greater comfort and a healthy and sustainable indoor climate for working, playing, studying and living in relaxation.

VELUX was among the first companies to believe in the automated management of openings and offers home automation solutions capable of increasing the environmental comfort and safety of the inhabitants of the house.

The partnership between Velux and the Cupertino company was announced at the end of WWDC 2016 and thanks to the integration of the products it will be possible to manage homes simply and efficiently with the Home application, 2 a real control panel from which to manage windows, heating systems and air conditioning, appliances, surveillance cameras, gates, gates and many other devices.
