Apple removes two applications from the App Store at the request of Cartier. The house of jewelery and luxury items had opened fire on Cupertino with a real legal action, filed last Friday. Subject of the dispute, as mentioned, two applications for iPhone and iPod touch called Fake Watch and Fake Watch Gold Edition that had a single purpose: to show the time but using depictions of the most famous watches in the world, including some by Cartier.
Last Friday afternoon Cartier filed a lawsuit against Apple through his attorneys, claiming that he had never authorized the use of his watch design depiction for an iPhone program. The lawsuit for a few hours; Cupertino as soon as he received the report he decided to withdraw the two programs (one free and one paid) developed by Digitopolis Games Studios, a Thai company. Apple's prompt response satisfied Cartier who through his attorney during the night between Friday and Saturday also promptly withdrew the lawsuit.
