Philips Hue Ambience, the bulb that "warms up" at sunset

Hue Ambience is on the market, a new Philips smart bulb that automatically changes the color temperature of the lighting to accompany the user to wake up and reconcile sleep.

It is an enhanced version of the Philips Hue Lux, so rather than offering different colors limited to white light only. However flanked by a new Routine mode configurable through the smartphone app that allows you to create and program different macros based on the use that you intend to do.

Basically it is possible to create a cold light, with a color temperature of around 6,500K, to be used in the morning through the Wake Up mode and which, gradually, can be increased in intensity, thus simulating the light of day. Likewise, with the Go to Sleep mode it is possible to slowly heat the light down to 2,200K, like a home sunset, which would also reconcile sleep as the much-talked blue light would be reduced, the same that Apple intends to eliminate with the iOS 9.3 Night Shift mode.

The new bulbs will be sold by spring both individually and in pairs in a kit including a wall switch and the new Hue Bridge 2.0 compatible with HomeKit. The price of both options has not yet been disclosed.
