Oracle JDeveloper on Mac OS X

Oracle JDeveloper on Mac OS X – Macitynet.it logomacitynet1200wide 1

Claudio writes: "I use JDeveloper in the office on a PC and it is useful to make it work even at home on my Mac to perform tests. The sequence of commands to be performed is very simple.

Just run these command lines from the console:

cd / usrmove us to the usr directory

mkdir javacreate a folder called java

ln -s / Library / Java / Home /usr/java/jdk1.3 creates a symbolic link, which jdeveloper accesses for its operation, to the osx java virtual machine which is 1.3.1

I hope you like this trick: I tried jdeveloper here and it works very well to remember that it's a beta the final release should arrive soon: you can find it on this page of the Oraclehttp: //otn.oracle.com site /products/jdev/content.htmlYou need to register but the software is free.
