Sony's spring is full of color and music

It opened with a note of condolence on the events that took place in the same morning in Brussels, which did not change the climate of optimism that pervades the new Sony, active this year in all sectors, a more than positive note in front of a general market from multiple parts considered to be in contraction.

The new Sony, as we said, opens the spring and summer of 2016 under two factors: the color and the definition. In June, the European Football Championships arrive in France and for Sony, as well as for all television manufacturers, a very tempting opportunity to propose new technologies and new standards to users. But not only TV: Sony 2016 also and above all made of music, this time wireless and in high resolution, full of color and lights with an important return to the past.

Sony and the 4K HDR standard

In just over a month we will celebrate our first 70 years and I can say, without fear of denial, that the creative drive and enthusiasm have remained unchanged opened Stphane Labrousse, Sony Country Head in Italy. 70 years that have seen Sony grow and become a brand that has always been among the best known in various sectors, from technology to multimedia up to the record industry, and which still today wants to renew itself and to be the leader of much more difficult, fast and competitive markets than in the past.

The European Football Championships will involve users in different ways: for us Italians it will mainly mean watching the games in the living room (even if France is not so far away): the new TV models focus a lot on 4K (RAI should broadcast eight games in 4K in June, thanks to the satellite channel TivSat) but above all on the HDR (High Dynamic Range) standard, which allows the BRAVIA line to have a much wider range of colors than a normal 4K signal and to return the original chromatic fidelity of the shot. Furthermore, thanks to three different built-in technologies, 4K TVs can also upscale different Full HD signals to obtain a final rendering similar to 4K, in order to promote optimal viewing even for all those contents that are not optimized for UltraHD.

The new models XD93, XD85e SD85 are also characterized by a very slim design, even more than 2015, with a wall positioning only 3.5 mm away. In all the new models, then, the rear has also been taken care of with systems to hide the cables as far as possible, with models for cable glands or interlocking panels.

Since last year, support for the Android platform has continued for the smart part, which guarantees full compatibility with Sony smartphones (and other Android brands) on the one hand, and the presence of various compatible Apps, such as games or entertainment channels, on the other. New in this edition are the direct button for the Netflix channel on the remote control and the built-in microphone for voice commands in searches.

Smaller lSRS-XB2, which instead has a passive radiator also accompanied by a DSP signal and a 42 mm full range unit.

The new MDR-XB650BT headphones are also wireless, which thanks to the integrated Bass Booster structure and dedicated EXTRA BASS diaphragm maximizes the wireless listening of pop and disco music with particular attention to the groove and bass.

<figure id=MDR-XB650BT_L_InSituation_2__1500 "width =" 620 "height =" 414 "srcset =" 1024w, htt 480w, .jpg 768w, 1500w "data-lazy-sizes =" (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px "src = "" /> The MDR-XB650BT and SRS-XB2 models, here in blue edition

The H.ear high resolution audio section is very interesting: it starts with the H.ear Go speakers, which integrate a 35 mm driver, compatible with Google CastTM and Spotify Connect, which can be used either alone or in pairs in stereo mode or even as a unit for creating a surround system.

The h.ear on Wireless NC headphones are also interesting, evolution of the model already presented last winter but here re-proposed in Bluetooth wireless mode, with NFC chip for simple pairing with Android devices: equipped with noise cancellation system, the headphones can can also be used flush when the battery runs out.

The h.ear model in Wireless, on the other hand, is more subtle and discreet, with an integrated microphone and high-resolution voice support, a 9mm driver and an external magnetic circuit around the neck that maximizes power. The announcement of the vinyl model follows a trend that sees the sales of this support constantly growing from 2005 onwards, after a five-year period of clear crisis, probably due to cardinal factors such as the affirmation of the MP3 format, Napster and the birth of the iPod.

<img class=
